What is the difference between the library and the online store?
The Online Store Service allows you to purchase our selection of geo-spatial data online. The Online Store is currently featuring SPOTMapsTM, our new high quality 2.5m natural-color ortho-mosaics.
Registration to the Online Store is free.
The Online Library Service allows you to access and manage your own geo-spatial data online through SPOT Online Access. We are hosting and managing the data on our end. Available 24/7, your data are always available for you to access. This Service is particularly valuable for companies and organizations that have a large amount of geo-spatial data to manage. Through the Online Library service, you can share access to your data within your own organization and with entities which have rights to access your data. This service is offered as part of an annual subscription.
Both services are currently open to US customers only.

How can I get access to the Online Store?
This service is currently open to registered users only. Users have to sign up get access to the service. A corresponding username and password will be provided within 24 hours of sign up.Should I pay to register to the Online Store?
Registration for our Online Store is free.
What product can I purchase in the Online Store?
Our Online Store currently features our newly released SPOTMaps™ product offering, our high quality 2.5m natural-color ortho-mosaics.
How do I pay for my purchases?
Default payment method is by Credit Card. SPOT Online Access supports VISA and MasterCard.
The system also supports use of a pre-defined Purchase Order. Such a purchase order must be sent to SPOT Image Corporation, and the appropriate $ amount will be available online under the user profile for future purchases.
I only see a few areas in Europe available to purchase. Are these my only options?
SPOTMaps™ products are currently available for France, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and Belgium. Spot Image will be adding products to the site as they become available.
I am located outside the US, can I get access to the Online Store?
The service is currently open to US customers only. This also includes users located outside the US who belong to US companies/organizations (US Government entities located outside the US for instance).
What processing levels and formats are available?
SPOTMaps™ products can be delivered in Geographic Lat/Long or UTM. A set of datum are available for each projection.
How can I see what countries will be added next to the Online Store?
SPOT Image Corporation will send an email to all registered users when new SPOTMaps™ products become available for purchase in the Online Store.
How long do you keep products for download?
Deliverables are available on a password-protected FTP for 7 days from date of purchase.
How long does it take to deliver a product?
FTP delivery is made within minutes from order placement.
For CD, DVD or FireWire media options the order will be shipped within 24 hours of order, using standard shipping methods.

Should I pay to get access to the Online Library Service?
The Online Library Service is available under an annual Subscription Fee. This service is currently open to US customers.
We are proposing 2 levels of Services:
- A basic level of service for customers with a limited amount of data to manage.
- A premium level of service for large organizations with extensive geo-spatial datasets to handle.

Can I include my own data in the Online Library?
The purpose of the Online Library is to host and provide access to users of their own data. Any SPOT and Formosat-2 data previously purchased through SPOT Image Corporation since Jan 1st 2006 will be available. We can add user-specific datasets to the online library.
Can my data be shared with groups outside my company?
Each product is stored in SPOT Online Access including the appropriate data licensing terms and conditions. The licensing information will define how the data can be viewed and/or shared by other entities. A detailed review of the licensing is done with each customer to ensure confidentiality and proper definition of the data license sharing rights.
Can I use shapefiles to search the archive?
This functionality will be supported very shortly.
Technical
I can only see part of SOA on my screen, how do I fix this?
The current configuration of SPOT Online Access is optimized for a 1280 x 1024 screen setting.
